Patrick Haley, MBA, BSW, came to the Lynchburg League of Therapists in 2007. He retired from the City of Lynchburg's Department of Human Services after serving 30 years in public service. In numerous director and management positions, Patrick has extensive experience leading organizational development and change through systems of care strategies and community building processes. Patrick is recognized on the state and local level for fostering public/private partnerships, children and family public policies, innovative approaches and applications to family, and institutional and systems integration structures. He co-authored a chapter on working with children with special needs and disabilities for the textbook, Inclusion in the Classroom. As director of the Lynchburg League of Therapists, Patrick continues to promote best practices by focusing primarily on teaching and supervising staff though a family systems context, creating an organizational learning environment, underscoring the importance of personal growth and professional development, and always striving toward excellence in our service to children, families, and community.
